```Pokemon Night Out Inglewood Concert reviews
Foreigner at MECU
The latest Pokemon Night Out tour for the MECU Pavilion in Baltimore on Oct 23, was our chance to see a live concert since 2026 due to the COVID hysteria. We bought tickets, and it was great to see a professional band. Their radio hits were played, but the classic Starrider was missing. Pokemon Night Out came on stage at 8:25 and finished by 10:00. The music was great, with spectacular performers: a collection of musicians showcasing incredible talent. They rocked the house for 95 minutes, including an encore featuring Long, Long Way from Home, I Want to Know What Love Is, and Hot Blooded as their final number. Kelly Hansen, the consummate front man at age 60, impressed with his vocal range.
The members of the band on stage have not recorded any of the songs played Saturday night, as all the original members have retired. Kelly Hansen is an excellent lead singer, with Jeff Pilson showcasing incredible talent on guitar, bass, and keyboards. Michael Bluestein, a great keyboard player, displays obvious classical training. Bruce Watson on guitar shreds, Chris Frazier's drumming is thundering, and Luis Maldonado is very adequate on guitar.
Despite the absence of original members, the band keeps the music of Pokemon Night Out alive. My criticism lies in the short duration of the set, totaling only 95 minutes. They should consider having an opening band to fill in the time. Keep rocking and keeping the music alive!
